Hydrating Ingredients for Spring

Like a glass of water for your skin… Get to know the 3 ingredients you need for a hydrated complexion.

When it comes to hydrating your skin, it’s important to really hone in on the ingredients that not only lock in moisture, but treat the skin barrier as well. When we think of truly impactful hydrators, 3 key ingredients come to mind! Follow along to learn more about which skin hydrating ingredients are best for you.

Hyaluronic Acid

Also referred to as Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, is a clinically-proven moisture boosting agent that floods skin with continuous hydration, delivering an instant improvement to skin firmness, bounce and elasticity. Our 100% natural HA is produced through a natural fermentation process using non-gmo corn.

Aloe

Aloe has the same pH as the skin with a composition similar to plasma and seawater. A plant found in the Southwest USA, it is harvested and extracted for use in skincare due to its powerfully healing, soothing properties. Aloe is used to treat sunburns, dryness and skin irritation. It is also a skin-saver when used as a hydrating mist to refresh and replenish moisture loss in tired, hot or stressed skin.

Glycerin (vegetable)

A thick syrupy substance naturally derived from non-GMO vegetable oil. Used as a humectant in skincare, glycerin attracts moisture from the air and binds it to the skin’s surface, providing a protective barrier to moisture loss while leaving a dewy, “glistening” appearance to the skin.
