We are excited to announce the opening of our first ever pop up shop at one of our favorite local destinations- Sweet Berry Farm!

In the summer of 1999, our founder Brenda Brock opened a little farm stand on her friend’s organic farm on Wapping Road in Middletown, Rhode Island. That is where she began selling her 100% natural, fine herbal skincare preparations that she made in her kitchen, using recipes gleaned from her own farming family heritage.

That same summer, Michelle and Jan Eckhart built and opened their beautiful new farm store right down the road on their pristine Aquidneck Island farmland, making Sweet Berry Farm one of the first true farm to table destinations with pick your own flowers and berries and the freshest produce and specialty foods that Rhode Island has to offer.

Twenty two years later, these two kindred spirits and entrepreneurs have come full circle. The reciprocity and kinship between Brenda and Michelle has been consistent over the years as has their desire to work together in some creative capacity. That wish has finally come true this summer with Farmaesthetics Pop Up at Sweet Berry Farm.

The idea for the pop up was launched when Brenda’s daughter Lela eyed an old storage shed next to the main Sweet Berry store. Overgrown and filled with farm equipment, Lela, a professional designer and fabricator, reimagined the space and built out the structure and interior, engaging local talent and woodworkers to help. Custom shelves are populated with Farmaesthetics bestselling products and specialty items, (including goods made by local artisans), making this shop and experience a faithful return to the farm aesthetic we uphold in everything we do.

We love creating special spaces within their natural context, where we can curate an authentic Farmaesthetics experience for all of our guests. With our Farmaesthetics Pop Up at Sweet Berry Farm we also return to the magic of in person interactions with our lovely customers, clients, and friends.
