Introducing our Rose Remedy Balm
We think we know the Rose—beauty, romance, softness, sensuality. But look a little closer and you will find that behind those delicate petals is a powerhouse of remarkably complex plant chemistry, every bit as compelling as its beauty.
I am fascinated by that contrast—how rose can be so soft and delicate, yet resilient, formidable and strong. Like “an iron fist in a velvet glove”, rose reminds us never to mistake delicacy for weakness, or simplicity for a lack of sophistication. This is the Rose we bring to our newest formulation, Rose Remedy Balm.
At the heart of the formula is precious Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, treasured for generations in botanical skincare for its soothing, conditioning and skin-supportive properties.
In modern skincare, there can be a tendency to equate more ingredients with greater performance. As a natural formulator, I have learned that sometimes the opposite is true. The work is in understanding a plant deeply—its chemistry, its character, and how it works in combination with other natural ingredients—then giving it the space to deliver.
So, I kept this formula remarkably simple. Precious rose oil is combined with pure, non-GMO soy oil and whipped into an elegant plant butter that melts beautifully on contact. Yes, just two ingredients.
This rose was not imagined through fragrance, but something much closer to the flower itself. The scent is true rose—soft, fresh and subtly green.
The texture is plush and enveloping, creating a soft cushion for lips, hair and areas of dryness without heaviness or leaving an oily residue. Press it into smile lines, cuticles and dry patches; smooth it over brows, fragile hair ends or fly-aways. Keep it close throughout the day for when skin or hair needs a little nourishment or apply Rose Remedy Balm overnight in a simple ritual of repair. One jar. Many uses and benefits.
It is humbling to create a product around a single flower, especially one so often associated with fragility and delicacy. But the rose I have come to know reminds us that softness and strength are not opposites—and that delicacy can be its own form of resilience.
I hope you love this little jar of Rose Remedy Balm as much as I have loved creating it for you.
XO,
Brenda
